IT WAS FOR YOU

Why do you worry my dear child of things that are to be,

I am always watching and looking over thee.

When you fear tomorrow and all that lies ahead,

I am always with you, so you need have no dread.

I gave my life upon the cross to take away your care,

No matter where life takes you, I surely will be there.

You are never out of my sight, I'm never far away,

I'll always have your back my child, each and every day.

If you had been the only one to ever draw a breath,

It was for you, upon the cross, that I accepted death.

So rest in peace and comfort, assured  in what you do,

And always remember child, when I died it was for you.
